Hello, welcome to my page.

Mike Musco began his career in the Mortgage Industry in 2005, where he soon received top monthly and quarterly producer awards at a company of over 400 Mortgage Loan Originators. His clients used his services for both refinancing and purchasing multiple owner occupied and investment homes, and was known as a trusted advisor that helped make sense of a complex process/transaction.

Much of Mike’s business has been referral-based and multiple transactions per family, due to his dedication to customer satisfaction. After the recession, Mike pivoted towards adding new skills to his tool-belt starting in 2009 through working as a fiduciary of Trusts & Estates, finishing his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and having an 8 year career at Microsoft.

While at Microsoft, Mike worked in multiple Business/Program Management and Corporate Finance roles. His roles there gave him the ability to gain new skills including financial analysis & modeling, process improvement & implementation, and being an excellent business partner. Despite the fantastic teams he worked with and being well taken care of by Microsoft, he decided to take a step back from the Tech Industry and re-enter the Mortgage Industry. He often had friends & family asking him for mortgage advice during his tenure at Microsoft so it seemed natural to re-enter the space to provide help where needed.

Mike works out of a small local office located in Bend Oregon, where he moved with his family in 2019. He thrives on creating value for customers by reliably providing clear information and customer service without pressure. He has made NEXA’s top 25 producer list in 2020 and 2021 of approximately 700 and 1100 Loan Officers respectively. He enjoys golf, snowboarding, grilling and IPA’s when not working on loans.

Our Loan Process

1: Pre-Approval

A loan pre-approval sets you up for a smooth home buying experience.

2: Shop

Start working with a real estate agent and viewing homes.

3: Loan Application

A few documents are needed to get a loan file through underwriting.

4: Loan Processing

Assemble all the necessary paperwork and details for the underwriter.

5: Underwriting

They closely evaluate all the documentation in the loan package.

6: Closing

Documents are drawn and sent to the title company for closing.
